Srinagar, Nov 11: Political leaders from various parties and different trade bodies have condemned the Delhi blast in which 12 people were killed.

The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah strongly condemned the series of barbaric blasts that struck Delhi, calling them a cowardly and inhuman act designed to spread fear among innocent people. In a statement issued today, Dr Farooq said, “Words fall short in condemning such a heinous act of terror.

These blasts are not only an assault on the lives of innocent citizens but also on the very spirit of humanity and peace. My heart goes out to all those who have lost their loved ones and to those battling injuries in hospitals. In this hour of immense pain, the entire nation stands united in grief and solidarity.” Dr Farooq expressed deep sympathies with the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the tragic incident.

He urged the authorities to ensure that the culprits behind this dastardly act are brought to justice without delay. He further added that violence and terror have no place in a civilized society and that such acts can never weaken the resolve of the people to uphold peace, harmony, and brotherhood.

JKPDF:  Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) President and former Minister Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen expressed shock over incident. In a statement,  Yaseen described the incident as a barbaric and cowardly act carried out by enemies of peace and humanity. He said the perpetrators of such heinous crimes deserve the severest possible punishment and must be brought to justice swiftly. “Attacks like these are aimed at disturbing communal harmony and peace in the country. The loss of innocent lives in such incidents is extremely painful and condemnable. My heart goes out to the families who have lost their loved ones in this senseless act of violence,” Yaseen said. The PDF leader offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for courage and strength for them to bear the irreparable loss. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the attack, urging authorities to ensure the best possible medical treatment for the victims

BJP: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader & former VC Khalid Jehangir also condemned the Red Fort attack. In a statement, Jehangir said, “The Red Fort incident exposes how deep radicalisation has penetrated even among those trained to heal and serve humanity.” He called for “swift and ruthless legal action at home,” emphasising that “there should be no revolving-door bail.” Jehangir further urged authorities to implement firm financial and cyber measures to choke the networks behind such acts. “The growing radicalisation within professional circles is alarming and must be addressed decisively,” Jehangir said. “The need of the hour is to dismantle extremist ecosystems through strong and lawful action.”

AIP: The Awami Ittihadi Party (AIP) has expressed strong condemnation, terming it a shameful assault on one of India’s most revered symbols of sovereignty, heritage, and unity.

In a statement, AIP State Secretary Sheikh Ashiq conveyed sorrow and solidarity with the families who lost their loved ones in the tragic incident. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured and lauded the security forces for their swift and courageous response in containing the situation.

FCIK: Federation of Chambers of Industries Kashmir (FCIK) has expressed outrage over the blast. “On behalf of the entire industrial fraternity of Kashmir, FCIK strongly condemns this cowardly and inhuman act of terror aimed at disturbing peace and spreading fear among citizens. Violence in any form stands in absolute contradiction to the values of humanity and civilized coexistence,” reads the FCIK statement.

The industrial community of Kashmir stands in complete solidarity with the bereaved families who have lost their dear ones in this tragedy. FCIK prays to Almighty for granting them strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss and for the speedy recovery of all those injured. Reiterating that peace and stability are indispensable for national progress and prosperity, FCIK appeals to both the central government and state governments to work in close coordination to ensure the safety and security of citizens across the country. A proactive, collaborative approach between security and intelligence agencies is essential to prevent such tragic incidents in the future.

KCCI: Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCC&I) strongly condemned the incident and conveyed condolences to the bereaved families and extended prayers for the speedy recovery of those wounded in the explosion. The business fraternity of Kashmir, KCC&I stated, stands in solidarity with all those affected by this tragedy, said a press release.  KCC&I emphasised that such acts of violence are an assault on peace, stability, and the shared values of humanity.

JKTABF: The Jammu & Kashmir Tourism and Allied Businesses Forum (JKTABF), led by its Chairman Mushtaq Chaya, on behalf of all members of the Forum and the wider travel and tourism community of J&K, has condemned in the strongest terms the recent explosion at Delhi’s Red Fort, describing it as a tragic and inhuman act that has shaken the conscience of the entire nation.

In a statementChaya expressed deep sorrow and heartfelt sympathy for the innocent victims of the incident and extended condolences to the grieving families, while praying for the quick recovery of the injured.* He noted that the tourism and business fraternity of Jammu & Kashmir stands shoulder to shoulder with the affected families and all fellow citizens in this moment of collective grief.

“Such acts of senseless violence are an attack on the very fabric of peace and harmony that India represents,” Mr. Chaya said, urging the authorities to bring the culprits to justice without delay and to enhance security mechanisms to prevent such tragedies in the future.

JKHARA: Jammu & Kashmir Hotels and Restaurant Association (JKHARA) has condemned the incident. In a statement, JKHARA President Babar Chowdhary expressed profound sorrow and anguish over the tragic loss of lives. He said the hospitality fraternity of Jammu and Kashmir stands in solidarity with the victims and their families during this painful time.

“This barbaric act is an assault on humanity and peace,” Chowdhary said, adding that such incidents have no place in a civilised society. He urged the Government of India to ensure that those responsible for this heinous crime are identified and brought to justice without delay. Chowdhary extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of all those injured.

KVFGDU: Chairman, Kashmir Valley Fruit Growers cum Dealers Union, Bashir Ahmad Basheer, who  is also president of The New Kashmir Fruits Association condenmed the attack and expressed solidarity with the families of the deceased.
