J&K Police organise ‘Sewa Parv’ programmes

Srinagar, Oct 2: The Jammu and Kashmir Police organised a series of programmes under Sewa Parv, launched by the Government of India.

As part of this initiative, different wings and units carried out activities aimed at creating cleaner and healthier surroundings in police establishments and nearby areas.

The Swachhta Bharat Abhiyan, which commenced on September 17, 2025, focused on promoting sanitation and hygiene and witnessed enthusiastic participation from police personnel, youth, school students, and local residents.

These drives, in line with the nationwide Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, not only improved cleanliness but also highlighted the positive impact of collective efforts in building a healthier environment.

Programmes were organised at all wing headquarters, district police establishments, and armed battalion headquarters across J&K.
