J&K parts to experience intermittent spells of rain, thundershower till Aug-7, says MeT

Srinagar, July 30: Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Tuesday predicted cloudy weather condition with intermittent spells of light to moderate rains & thundershowers in parts of Jammu and Kashmir till August 7.

From July 30^th to 31^st generally cloudy with intermittent spells of light to moderate rain & thundershower at many places of Kashmir division, and widespread places of Jammu division, a MeT official said.

He said from 1^st to 7^th August, there is possibility of generally cloudy weather conditions with spells of intermittent light to moderate rain & thundershower at many places of Kashmir division, and most places of Jammu division.

The official added that intense showers for brief period with possibility of flash floods, cloudbursts, landslides, mudslides and shooting stones over vulnerable places of Jammu & Kashmir with possibility of heavy rainfall at few places of Jammu division is expected.
