J&K LG praises Omar-led govt over winter preparedness

Srinagar, Mar 03: Hailing the Omar-led government, LG Manoj Sinha on Monday said that there was a “close coordination between the administration and elected representatives” this winter, which minimised disruptions to the daily lives of people during snowfall.

“For the first time this winter, my Government -through close coordination between the administration and elected representatives  took comprehensive measures to minimize disruptions to the daily lives of the people during snowfall,” said Sinha during his address to the legislators.

“This synergy enabled one of the swiftest restorations of essential supplies in Kashmir, including efficient snow clearance,” he said.

Additionally, Sinha said, the power supply remained one of the most reliable, with minimal interruptions. I extend my sincere appreciation to my Government for their dedication and unwavering commitment to meeting the expectations of the people and ensuring seamless winter preparedness.
