J&K LG hands over appointment, land allotment orders to NoKs of slain civilians in Poonch
Srinagar, Mar 03: Lieutenant Governor J&K Manoj Sinha on Sunday handed over appointment and land allotment orders to the Next of Kin (NoK) of three civilians who were killed following an anti-insurgency operation in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir late last year.
“Handed over appointment orders on compassionate grounds, and allotment orders of land measuring one Kanal each, to the Next of Kin (NoK) of three civilians who had lost their lives in Poonch,” Office of LG J&K said on X.
“We stand with families & assured them all possible support from the J&K administration”, it added.
Three civilians were killed in alleged custody of security forces in the Bafliaz area of Poonch on December 22 last year after an ambush by terrorists left Army soldiers dead.
