Tasneem’s address was not only about nostalgia but she also provided invaluable advice to the students about their career opportunities. She emphasised the importance of respect and gratitude towards teachers and said these values can significantly impact one’s career trajectory.

“Besides working hard in your career, you should also focus on developing your personality and emotional intelligence,” she advised the students while encouraging them to cultivate a well-rounded approach to education and personal growth.

Delving into the realm of career choices, Tasneem dispelled misconceptions about certain academic paths. She assured students pursuing commerce and humanities that they had made valid choices, citing the numerous career opportunities available in these fields. “There are better career opportunities in commerce and arts,” she said.

About the social media dominance, Tasneem advised the students to follow a balanced approach. “Social media can be helpful for career growth when used judiciously and positively,” she said and cautioned students against its compulsive use.

“Social media, if used positively and judiciously, can help in shaping your career,” she said. She also advocated for a mindful approach to digital presence.

Sharing insight about her career she said while opting for humanities in senior secondary level, her parents supported “my decision” but asked her to make something out of it.

“I did not take any stress at all but remained determined and decided that I have taken this decision and I will make something out of it,” she said.

Tasneem urged students to cultivate habits of reading, writing, and self-expression.

“Have a good time in school, spend good time with friends,” she asked the students. She however regretted not participating in sports during her school days.

“I never played sports in school, and that was a bad thing for me. You should be into it,” she said.

On the occasion, Chairman GVEI Mohammad Yousuf Wani congratulated Kawoosa for achievement and said the institute is committed to nurture students across all academic disciplines. He emphasised the dedication of GVEI to provide a supportive platform for students to explore and excel in their chosen fields.

“We are committed to guide and empower students to realize their full potential,” he said.
