J&K High Court sets new jurisdictional limits for Munsiff Courts in Kathua district

Srinagar, March 01: The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has redefined the territorial jurisdiction of Munsiff Courts in Kathua district.

The fresh notification supersedes older orders and notifications.

As per an official notification issued by Registrar General Shahzad Azeem, Munsiff Court Billawar will have jurisdiction over the revenue limits of Tehsil Billawar, Munsiff/Additional Special Mobile Magistrate Billawar will oversee cases from Tehsils Ramkot and Lohai Malhar.

The notification quoted by news agency KDC further says that  Munsiff Court Mahanpur will have jurisdiction over Tehsil Mahanpur while the Munsiff Court Basohli will handle cases from Tehsil Basohli.
