J&K Hajj Committee extends last date for depositing advance amount to Oct 31

Srinagar, Oct 22: The Jammu and Kashmir Hajj Committee on Tuesday notified for the information of all the intending Hajj pilgrims of Hajj 2025 that the last date for depositing the advance Hajj amount of Rs 1,30,300 had been extended up to October 31, 2024, by the Hajj Committee of India Mumbai vide Circular No 10 dated October 21, 2024.

After depositing the advance Hajj amount, the provisionally selected pilgrims have to submit Hajj application form (HAF), solemn declaration and undertaking, copy of pay-in-slip or online receipt, and medical screening and fitness certificate as per the format available on the website www.hajcommittee.gov.in, self-attested copy of international passport, and one passport size photograph with white background at Hajj section of the concerned Deputy Commissioners (DC)’s office up to November 5, 2024.

However, the provisionally selected pilgrims of district Srinagar have to deposit the aforesaid documents directly at the Hajj House Bemina, Srinagar, by November 5.

Further, all the selected pilgrims have been advised to download the medical screening and fitness certificate from the Hajj Committee of India website www.hajcommittee.gov.in and get it issued by the Government Medical Officer after medical examination.
