Srinagar, Aug 12: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has announced that “Sewa Parv” will be observed across the Union Territory from September 17 to October 2, 2025, focusing on public service, community participation, and inclusive governance.

According to an order issued by the Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, in the spirit of public service, community participation, and inclusive governance, it is hereby ordered that "Sewa Parv" shall be organized across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir from 17th September to 2nd October, 2025.

The observance will be anchored around key themes of service and social responsibility, with the broad activities and departmental responsibilities detailed as per Annexure to this Government Order, it reads.

It is further ordered that, The Information Technology Department shall develop and maintain a dedicated online portal for real-time monitoring, reporting, and documentation of activities undertaken during the Sewa Parv.

The portal shall facilitate uploading of activity-wise reports, photographs, and videos by designated officers. The Information Technology Department shall also coordinate with all eline departments to provide access credentials well in advance, it reads.

All concerned Administrative Departments shall prepare detailed itineraries and action plans for implementation at the Divisional and District levels, order directs.

Order further directs all concerned Administrative Departments to designate a Nodal Officer for coordination, monitoring, and timely reporting of activities on the portal.

Divisional Commissioners Kashmir/Jammu and Deputy Commissioners shall ensure coordinated implementation and inter-departmental convergence, reads the order. (KNC)
