Srinagar, May 30: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Thursday revised the file submission protocol for the Departments in the Union Territory.

As per the order, a copy of which lies with Kashmir News Service (KNS) stated that all files pertaining to various government departments that are not assigned to an Advisor will now be submitted to the Lieutenant Governor through the Chief Secretary.

The change modifies the earlier Government Order No. 1026-JK(GAD) of 2020 dated November 2, 2020, and Government Order No. 704-JK(GAD) of 2023 dated June 16, 2023.
