Srinagar, June 01: The Jammu and Kashmir Government Saturday ordered the deputation of 57 Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service officers to the Amarnath Shrine Board on short term basis.

Quoting an official communiqué, nes agency KNS reported that the officers will be deployed as Camp Directors and Additional Camp Directors at various camps along the route of the pilgrimage.

The Controlling Officers have been instructed to relieve the selected officers so they can report to the office of the Chief Executive Officer, Amarnath Shrine Board, on a date that will be communicated by the board separately.

The exact deployment of the officers will  be determined by the board itself.

During the deputation, the officers will continue to draw their salaries from their current places of posting.

They will return to their respective positions immediately after the conclusion of the pilgrimage, said the communique.

The arrangement ensures that the necessary administrative support is provided for the smooth conduct of the Yatra, while maintaining the officers' employment terms and conditions, it added.
