J&K EJAC President commends initiative
Srinagar, Mar 16: The President of J&K EJAC Wajahat Hussain Durrani, extends appreciation to the administration of UT Ladakh for its decision to approve the enhancement of minimum wages for daily wagers, need-based workers, and daily-rated workers across different departments.
In a statement, he termed this decision as a significant step towards justice. Durrani emphasized that this issue has long been a humanitarian concern in J&K, with demands for the implementation of the Minimum Wage Act for these workers persisting for over two decades.
