J&K Dragon Boat delegation meets Yasha Mudgal

Srinagar, Jul 16: A delegation of the J&K Dragon Boat Association called on Yasha Mudgal, IAS, to congratulate her on assuming charge as Commissioner/Secretary of the Youth Services and Sports Department, pledging full support for the promotion of water sports in the region.

As per a statement issued on Wednesday, the Association was represented by M S Punoo, IPS Retd, President of the Association, Er Aamir Ali, former director of Disaster Management and Vice President of the Association, Shabir Ahmed, working secretary, Zain Ul Aabidin, a player who has represented India four times, Zahoor Ahmed Latto, a player who has won gold medals at the international level, and Farooq Ahmed Bhat, who has coached Team India.

The members of the J&K Dragon Boat Association wholeheartedly welcomed the commissioner and extended their full support to the Youth Services and Sports Department.
