J&K CM Omar Abdullah visits fire victims at Sonamarg

Sonamarg, Feb 11: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today visited the fire-ravaged Sonamarg in Ganderbal district, where over 45  shops, including several hotels were razed in a devastating fire that swept through main market Sonamarg on Saturday evening.

Chief Minister Omer Abdullah, accompanied by MLA Kangan Mian Mehar Ali, Advisor Nasir Aslam Wani, Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal and senior officials, visited Sonamarg market to assess the damage caused by the massive fire incident .

Chief Minister met and interacted with the fire affected traders and assured them of all possible support and immediate relief.

Later, CM Omar Abdullah called for a meeting in which Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, SSP Ganderbal alongwith MLA Kangan and other officials of administration took part.
