J&K CM congratulates team on quarter-final qualification
Srinagar, Feb 2: Following the Jammu & Kashmir Ranji cricket team’s qualification to quarter-finals on Sunday, the Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister’s office congratulated the team for the victory.
With a resounding 182-run victory over Baroda and topping Elite Group A with 35 points, the J&K team received widespread appreciation for its commanding victory.
In a post on X, the CM’s office lauded the players’ dedication and wished them success in the next stage. " Congratulations to Team J&K for making it to the quarter-finals of the Ranji Trophy! A remarkable achievement that reflects the hard work, talent, and determination of our players. Wishing the team the best for the next stage—keep making J&K proud!" the message read.
Meanwhile, Parvez Rasool, J&K’s most celebrated cricketer and former skipper of J&K cricket team also took to social media to applaud the team’s efforts, giving a special mention to key players and the coaching staff. "Heartiest congratulations to Team Jammu and Kashmir for making it to the Ranji Trophy quarter-finals! Big applause to Sahil, Shubham, Kanaya, skipper Paras bhai, and the entire squad, including the coaching staff, for their efforts. Wishing them all the best for the next stage—hope they continue their strong run and make history!" Rasool wrote.
