J&K budget session: CM's Advisor takes stock of arrangements in LA complex
Jammu, Mar 01: Two days ahead of commencement of the maiden Budget session of J&K UT Legislative Assembly, Nasir Aslam Wani, the Advisor to the Chief Minister Saturday visited the legislature complex and took stock of the arrangements.
Sources stated that the Advisor took a round of the complex and inspected arrangements made for facilitating smooth proceedings. Besides, he also reviewed facilities for the legislators, media persons and issued instructions for further improvement, wherever needed.
He also visited a canteen set up in the Legislative Council complex and suggested replacing sofas with the dining tables. He instructed the concerned officials to ensure that the legislators and media persons do not face any inconvenience.
Meanwhile the police personnel this morning also conducted a national anthem drill.
The national anthem is played before the address of Lieutenant Governor or Governor to the Members of the Legislative Assembly on the inaugural day of session and also when the dignitary (LG) leaves after his address.
