The government of Jammu and Kashmir has taken a significant step towards promoting women entrepreneurship with the launch of Hausla 2.0, building on the success of its predecessor, Hausla 1.0. Successfully training 118 women entrepreneurs, it focused on expanding networks, facilitating participation in national exhibitions, and increasing market reach. The programme's success was evident in the testimonials shared by participants during the launch of Hausla 2.0, where they expressed gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor-led UT Administration for the support and guidance provided for their business ventures.

Eligibility and Selection Process
Hausla 2.0 is open to women residents of Jammu and Kashmir who are above 18 years of age, own more than 33% of their enterprise, and have commenced business operations. The selection process involves two rounds of screening: an initial application form review followed by a virtual personal interview conducted by the Guidance Committee.
