Srinagar, Sep 27: Reinforcing its commitment to the J&K Government’s flagship employment and entrepreneurship programme Mission YUVA, J&K Bank organised multiple Login Day events across the Union Territory this week, handing over hundreds of sanction letters to aspiring entrepreneurs. The events drew large gatherings of youth, beneficiaries, and officials from both the Bank and local administration.

Commending the Bank’s role in implementing the scheme, senior government functionaries urged young people to shift from being job seekers to becoming job creators by availing the support offered under Mission YUVA. Bank officials reiterated that the entire institution, from top management to grassroots staff, is working in mission mode to meet the programme’s objectives and instil confidence among budding entrepreneurs.

Across districts, dignitaries chaired events and distributed sanction letters. In Baramulla, Deputy Commissioner Minga Sherpa, along with GM Narjay Gupta, handed over letters to beneficiaries. Budgam hosted a similar event chaired by GM Peer Masood Chishti with ADDC Mehraj-ud-Din Shah. In Reasi, GM Rajesh Gupta presided, while in Rajouri, GM Tariq Ali co-chaired with ADDC Poonch Pankaj Magotra.

At each venue, dozens of entrepreneurs received sanction letters to establish or expand their ventures under credit-linked schemes.

The Bank’s proactive outreach through such events has already created momentum across the UT, bridging the gap between government vision and grassroots execution. By supporting youth with financial assistance, mentorship, and institutional backing, J&K Bank continues to play a pivotal role in driving the entrepreneurship ecosystem envisioned under Mission YUVA.
