J&K Ball Badminton Association to conduct selection trials

Srinagar, Jan 25: The Jammu and Kashmir Ball Badminton Association has announced the commencement of selection trials and a 21-day residential coaching camp for aspiring players ahead of the 68th Junior National Ball Badminton Championship for Boys & Girls 2023-24.

The championship is scheduled to take place in Patna, Bihar, from March 10 to March 14, 2024, as confirmed by a spokesperson of the association.

In an official statement released today, the spokesman highlighted the key details of the upcoming events. The selection trials are set to take place at Gindun Sports Stadium, Raj Bagh, Srinagar, on February 3, starting at 10:00 am. Following the trials, a 21-day residential coaching camp is scheduled to begin on February 4 and conclude on February 24.

Affiliated District units are urged to submit the entries before the deadline on February 3, 2024. Interested players can register by contacting the General Secretary at 7006533375. Additionally, players have the option to register through SMS or WhatsApp by providing essential details such as Name, Parentage, Date of Birth, and District.

The spokesman emphasised the mandatory requirements for participants, urging players to bring a passport-size photograph, District & UT Level Participation Certificates (Compulsory), and original age proof.
