Jitendra Singh, CM Omar fly together to Sonamarg
Jammu, Jan 13: Union Minister of State PMO Jitendra Singh and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Monday flew together in a chopper to reach Sonamarg – the venue of the inauguration of the Z-Morh tunnel.
The information was shared by the Union Minister himself on the microblogging site ‘X’.
“Through the glaciers, a scenic heli-flight from Srinagar to #Sonamarg. Accompanied by CM #JammuAndKashmir Sh@Omar Abdullah ji, enroute to the venue of inauguration of the landmark Z-Morh tunnel by PM Sh@narendramodi ji,” Singh posted on ‘X’ with three pictures, one showing both CM and the Union Minister posing for camera with gleaming faces and two others demonstrating panoramic aerial views of scenic splendour enroute Sonamarg.
Later, the Union Minister also shared his few pictures with the CM and others posing outside the Sonamarg Tunnel while waiting for the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the inauguration of the tunnel – a magnificent engineering marvel.
The PM inaugurated the Sonamarg Tunnel, ensuring all-weather connectivity to Sonamarg, on Monday afternoon.
