JCO dies after slipping into gorge in J&K's Poonch

Poonch, Nov 21: An Army Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) lost his life after slipping into a deep gorge in the Behramgalla area of Poonch on Friday.

Official sources told news agency KNC that the incident occurred in the evening when an ADP party was on routine movement at Dhok Pattancore, Behramgalla.

“During the movement, Subedar Sajeesh K suddenly slipped and fell into a deep gorge, resulting in his on-spot death,” they added.

They said the body has been retrieved by the troops and is being brought to Behramgalla.
