JCCI concerned over rising terrorism in Jammu region
Jammu, July 13: Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) president Arun Gupta, expressed serious concern over the increasing terrorist activities in Jammu division.
In a press statement, he termed it as a big conspiracy of neighbouring country Pakistan. He underscored Pakistan’s discomfort with the returning of normalcy in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
Arun Gupta, while appreciating the efforts of security forces, stressed upon the need to further strengthen the security and other related agencies and take enhanced security measures, especially in view of the ongoing Amarnath Yatra. He also called upon the public to remain vigilant against the nefarious designs of the anti national elements and avoid falling prey to their designs.
JCCI president condemned the recent terror attacks in Jammu division especially at Army Post at Manjakote in Rajouri district and terror attack on Army trucks at village Badnota in Billawar area of Kathua district. He demanded that the terrorists and their over ground workers wherever they were operating should be eliminated.
He appealed to the international community to “isolate and expose Pakistan which harboured terrorists, provided them with safe haven and condoned terrorism.”
