The Traffic Police further said that subject to fair weather and good road conditions and after getting a green signal from road maintenance agency BRO only one-way traffic for all LMVs with anti-skid chains and HMVs shall be allowed from Srinagar towards Kargil on the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari road. These vehicles shall be allowed from Sonamarg only up to cut-off timing.

Meanwhile the security forces have also been advised not to ply against the traffic advisory in view of the possibility of traffic congestion because of the narrow carriage way between Nashree and Banihal on Jammu-Srinagar highway.
