Srinagar, June 25: The Jammu-Srinagar highway has been blocked after heavy rains triggered massive mudslides in the Mehad area of Ramban district, an official said.

The official added, "Commuters are advised not to travel on NH-44 until the road is cleared and reopened for traffic."

He further said that traffic on Mughal Road, SSG Road, and Sinthan Road is plying as per the advisory.*
