Jammu and Kashmir govt orders transfers, new postings in civil administration

Srinagar, March 06: Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday transfers and new postings in the civil administration.

As per an order, issued by the General Administration Department, following officers have been transferred.

Rifat Aftab Qureshi, JKAS, Joint Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Rural Development, Kashmir, is transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Wullar-Manasbal.

Dr. Tahir Firdous Dutta, JKAS, Additional Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department, is transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner (Central) in the office of Financial Commissioner (Revenue), against an available vacancy.

Deepika Rana, JKAS, Additional Secretary to the Government, Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment, is transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Jammu Urban Development Agency, relieving Mr. Puneet Sharma, JKAS, Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jammu of the additional charge of the post.

Riyaz Ahmad Shah, JKAS, Joint Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, holding additional charge of Additional Chief Executive Officer, Smart City, Srinagar and Chief Executive Officer, Urban Development Agency, Kashmir, is transferred and posted as Joint Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Rural Development, Kashmir.

Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, JKAS, Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Wullar-Manasbal, is transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation.

Mohamamd Rashid, JKAS, awaiting orders of posting in the General Administration Department, is posted as Joint Director, Youth Services and Sports, Kashmir, against an available vacancy.

Fareed Ahmad Kohli, JKAS, General Manager, DIC, Rajouri, shall hold the charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Rajouri, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
