Jamait-e-Hamdani holds condolence meeting

Srinagar, Jul 19: Jamait-e-Hamdani on Saturday condoled the demise of the daughter of a noted businessman of Nawab Bazar, Ghulam Ahmad Khan, in Virginia, USA.

Maulana Riyaz Hamdani chaired the condolence meeting.

On the occasion, Jamait-e-Hamadani chief spokesperson Ghulam Muhammad Saqi hailed the contribution of the family.

He extended condolences to the brothers of the deceased, noted Islamic scholar Kalimullah Khan, besides Akramullah Khan and Hasmatullah Khan.

A delegation of the organisation, led by Saqi, also visited the bereaved family at Ishber Nishat and extended condolences.

The deceased was the wife of Dr Muhammad Ashraf Balti.

Saqi said funeral prayers in absentia (Gaybana Jinaza) would be held at 10:30 am on Sunday, July 20. Meanwhile, noted businessmen Ghulam Mohiuddin Khan and Sheikh Rais have also condoled the demise.

Meanwhile, senior National Conference (NC) leaders Ali Muhammad Sagar, Salman Sagar, and Mubarak Gul also condoled the demise and expressed sympathies with the Khan family.
