Jaishankar to visit US for Critical Minerals Ministerial from Feb 2–4

New Delhi, Feb 2: External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar will visit the United States from February 2 to 4, 2026, to participate in the Critical Minerals Ministerial convened by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, according to an official announcement. The ministerial is expected to focus on strengthening supply chain resilience, advancing clean energy transitions, and enhancing strategic cooperation in the area of critical minerals. During the visit, Dr Jaishankar will also hold meetings with senior members of the US administration to discuss bilateral and strategic issues of mutual interest.
