J-K’s Nazia Fatima, Syed Azaan win bronze at U-19 SGFI Nationals

Srinagar, Dec 16: Jammu and Kashmir’s Nazia Fatima, and Syed Azaan have clinched bronze medals in the Under-19 SGFI Nationals, held in Punjab.

Nazia Fatima bagged the medal under 44 kg category while Syed Azaan achieved the feat in 57 kg category.

The achievement highlights their dedication hard work and the quality training provided by the PMDP Judo Center in Srinagar, under the guidance of the J&K Sports Council.

“Both of them are trainees at the PMDP Judo Center under the aegis of the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council. Their rigorous training under the guidance of State Awardee Judo Coach Kabra Altaf has been instrumental in her success,” an official said.

“This medal is a result of their persistence, hard work, and the structured coaching they received, which proves that with dedication and the right support, players from J&K can excel at the national level,” said Kabra Altaf, Judo coach.
