J-K: Four die in Kishtwar road accident, rescue operation underway

Srinagar, Jan 05: Four persons were killed in a road accident in the Paddar area of kishtwar district.

Reports said that the two other people were still missing while the rescue operation was going on.

Union Minister of Science and Technology and Member Parliament Udhampur Dr Jitendra Singh meanwhile said that he was in touch with the concerned Deputy Commissioner and was receiving updates about the incident.

"Got in touch with DC #Kishtwar, Sh Rajesh Kumar Shavan immediately after receiving the report of a road accident at Sanyas in Paddar area," Jitendra Singh wrote on his X.

He said that 5 persons were travelling in the vehicle. "Rescue teams have been put into action. I am regularly receiving the updates," he shared on X.
