IUST hosts seminar on building global medical ecosystem

Char-i-Sharief, Oct 25: Alamdar Memorial College of Nursing and Technology, a constituent college of IUST, organised a one-day seminar themed “Fostering a Global Medical Ecosystem: Empowering Future Healthcare Professionals through Admissions, Training, and Placement” in collaboration with Apollo Med Skill and Shazone Foundation.

Keynote speaker Dr Shaikh Abdul Rehman, Director of Apollo and GVantage, discussed strategies for creating sustainable healthcare ecosystems.

Mujabata from GMC Srinagar, an advocate for child mental health, emphasised the policy gaps and funding needs in the healthcare sector.

Earlier, while welcoming the guests and participants, Principal Prof Dr Zamrooda Akhter underscored the importance of such seminars in strengthening healthcare systems.

The event was coordinated by Tabashir Bashir, and Syed Shahid and Iram Saba presented the vote of thanks.
