It is time for Abdullahs to retire from politics: Chugh
Srinagar, Aug 20: Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) national general secretary, Tarun Chugh Tuesday said that the election manifesto of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) is a disruptive and a deceptive piece of paper.
Chugh said that the Abdullahs are living in a "fool's paradise" and are trying to hoodwink people of J&K by giving them false and misleading promises, read an official statement.
He said the J&K has gone far beyond the disruptive ideas like autonomy and Article 370.
A new era of growth and development has come about under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and people are looking forward to good job avenues and prosperity, Chugh said as per the statement.
Abdullahs are still flogging a dead horse and people of J&K will teach them a good lesson in the coming elections, Chugh said.
Chugh said that the idea of Abdullahs about talks with Pakistan is a figment of dreamland and that it clearly exposes their link to Pakistan's Inter Service Intelligence (ISI).
The BJP has written a new chapter of development and progress and it's time Abdullahs take retirement from the politics, Chugh said.
