It is my hobby, says Japanese man who broke into 1,000 homes

Srinagar, Dec 02: A Japanese man, who was recently arrested for trespassing on a property, has said he has broken into more than 1,000 homes and that ‘it is his hobby’.

As per Japan Times, the man, who was taken into custody after the latest incident, has said he gets “thrilled” by breaking into people’s homes.

“Breaking into other people’s homes is a hobby of mine, and I have done it more than 1,000 times. I get so thrilled that my palms sweat when wondering if someone will discover me or not, and it relieves some stress,” the unnamed man was quoted as saying by The Japan Times.

A resident of Dazaifu City, the accused was arrested on November 25 when he entered the premises of a self-employed man around 1 pm. The man and his wife noticed him in their garden and alerted the police, The Express Tribune reported.

The reports also said no thefts were reported in connection with the incidents and authorities are taking the matter seriously due to the psychological nature of the crimes.
