Israeli military claims they have killed Hezbollah chief in Beirut airstrike
Srinagar, Sept 28: Israel Defence Force (IDF) Saturday claimed to have killed the Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah as they pound Lebanon capital Beirut with airstrikes.
The militant group has neither confirmed nor denied it as of now.
"Acting on precise intelligence information, Israeli Air Force aircraft struck the central headquarters of Hezbollah, located underground, under a residential building in the Dahiya area of Beirut.
The attack took place at a time when Hezbollah's top leadership was at its headquarters coordinating terrorist activities against the citizens of the State of Israel," the statement from the IDF said.
In 2006 also, Israel had claimed to have killed Sayyed Nasrallah, after attacking his main office & building, but then 3 days later Sayyed appeared on live TV, saying:
“You want open war? You’ll get it.” Then said, “Look at it burn,” while Hezbollah attacked an Israeli ship.
Since yesterday, Israel has attacked over dozens of place in Lebanon including, Ma'raka, Deb'al, Zibqeen, Harees, Bar'acheet, Shabreha, Al-Masakin, Burj el-Shemali, Ain B'al, Al-Sama'ieh, Zawtar, Bazourieh, Haboush, Yaroun, Nabatieh.
