Israeli forces kill 40 Palestinians, injure 71 others in last 24-hours, local media reports

Srinagar, Aug 06:  Israeli forces have killed at least 40-Palestinians while injuring 71 others over last 24-hours in the besieged Gaza enclave, Palestinian health authorities said Tuesday.

The health authorities confirmed that the total number of Palestinian humans killed by Israeli forces since October 7 has reached to 39,923 even as 91,469 persons have suffered injuries, reported Wafa News Agency.

It said the majority of the victims are women and children.

The emergency service are unable to reach many people suffering casualties and injuries, while also been unable to recover dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave of Gaza. This, they said was due to obstruction caused by the Israeli forces who are impeding the movement of ambulances and civil volunteers.
