Israel pushing region to all-out-war: Egypt, Iraq, Jordan tell UN General Assembly in New York

Srinagar, Sept 25: As they condemned Israel's aggression against Gaza and Lebanon, the Foreign Ministers of three West Asian countries Wednesday asserted that Israel is "pushing the region towards all-out-war."

In their joint statement the ministers said that there is a dangerous escalation under way in the region which should be stopped by first pressing Israel to halt its bloody aggression in Gaza.

The countries stated this as Israel's offensive on Lebanon killed over 500 people on Tuesday amid the ongoing 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York,

The UN says that this session is the "most crucial of all sessions as current scenario of the geopolitics is on the brink of taking a violent shape amid wars, and the unchecked rise of the Artificial Intelligence."
