Islamic Global School hosts inter-school cycling championship
Srinagar, June 3: The Department of Physical Education and Sports of Islamic Global School, Padshahi Bagh, Srinagar, proudly hosted an exhilarating Inter-School Cycling Championship on Monday.
The event, tailored for students from 3rd to 7th grade, aimed at fostering a culture of fitness, camaraderie, and sportsmanship among young learners.
Under the esteemed patronage of the Principal of Islamic Global School, Urooj Qadiri, the race flagged off at 6:00 AM, from Nehru Park to Botanical Garden, Srinagar. Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, Vice-President of Jammu and Kashmir Cycling Association, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Alongside the distinguished presence of Urooj Qadiri, supervisors Tanveer Ahmad, Arusha, the Head of the Physical Education Department, Waseem Raja, and all the officials of Islamic Global School added prestige to the event.
