Inter-zonal U-19 cricket tournament begins in Budgam

Budgam, Jul 24: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, Budgam, commenced the much-anticipated Inter-Zonal District Level Cricket Tournament for Boys Under 19 at the open ground in Batpora. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of students representing various government and private schools across the district.

The tournament was officially inaugurated by the Zonal Physical Education Officer (ZPEO) Magam, Ghulam Nabi Lone, under the overall supervision and guidance of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Budgam, Ghulam Hassan Lone.

The vibrant opening ceremony reflected the growing passion for cricket among youth, with players displaying sportsmanship, energy, and determination. The event aims to foster healthy competition, promote physical fitness, and provide a platform for budding talent to shine at higher levels of competition.
