Intensify political, public outreach activities: Altaf Bukhari

Srinagar, Nov 11: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Monday urged party leaders and senior workers to “enhance their political and public outreach activities in their respective areas to stay closely connected with the people.

According to a press release, he  was addressing party leaders from South Kashmir during a review meeting held at the party’s headquarters in Srinagar. The meeting focused on assessing the current political scenario in Jammu and Kashmir and addressing significant party matters and public issues. Several prominent party leaders were also present on the occasion.

“The participants of the meeting held thorough discussions on important issues and shared insights based on grassroots-level feedback from their respective areas. They emphasised the need to further fortifying the party at the grassroots and outlined strategic plans to accomplish this goal,” the press release said.

Speaking on the occasion,  Bukhari urged the party leaders and senior workers to energise themselves in order to play a proactive role in serving the people in their respective areas.

He said, “I urge you to intensify your political and public outreach efforts in your areas. Stay well-informed about local issues and grievances, and ensure these concerns are raised and addressed by the relevant authorities.”

Meanwhile, Bukhari has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the tragic fire incident that claimed the lives of a woman Nazia Begum and her two children, seven year old  Amina and  four year Rizwan— at Bhugrana Saroor in Kishtwar, during the early hours of Monday.

In his statement, he said, “I feel deeply pained by the tragic incident that charred a woman and her two children to death in Kishtwar. This is an unimaginable tragedy, and no words can adequately convey condolences or ease the pain of their grieving loved ones.”

“I pray to the Almighty to grant the bereaved family the patience and strength to endure this immense loss, and may the departed souls rest in eternal peace,” Bukhari  added.
