‘Install traffic lights at Sanat Nagar junction’

Srinagar, Dec 9: While welcoming the inauguration of the Sanat Nagar flyover, commuters have demanded the installation of traffic lights at the junction below it for smooth vehicular movement.

A group of commuters said the absence of traffic lights poses a risk of accidents at the junction beneath the Sanat Nagar flyover. “Traffic lights will ensure proper movement of vehicles from four sides and minimise risk of accidents on the busy stretch,” they said.

They urged the authorities to place safety measures at the junction for the convenience of commuters.
