Inquiry ordered as 6 employees found absent at Kralgund hospital

The Tehsildar has sought immediate action against the absentees and forwarded the findings to Deputy Commissioner Kupwara.

Kupwara, Jan 4: An inquiry has been ordered by Tehsildar Kralgund in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district after six employees were unauthorisedly found absent during his surprise visit to Community Health Centre (CHC) Kralgund.

During the inspection, it was found that six staff members, including Sub Pharmacist Abdul Ahmad Sheikh, Physiotherapist Tariq Ahmad, BHW Mohammad Iqbal Sheikh, Junior Nurse Zeenat Khursheed, OT Technician Jamsheed Lone, FMPHW Zubaida Hassan and MTS Ghulam Ahmad Mir, were not present at their assigned duty stations, raising concerns about the functioning of the healthcare center.

The Tehsildar has sought immediate action against the absentees and forwarded the findings to Deputy Commissioner Kupwara. A copy of the findings has also been forwarded to Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Kupwara and the Block Medical Officer (BMO) of Langate for necessary action.
