Inquiry clears Er Shadab Wani, reinstated as President of Beopar Mandal Banihal

Banihal, Nov 14: In a significant development within the Beopar Mandal Banihal, the Chief Election Committee has reinstated Er. Shadab Wani as the President of the Traders Association after an internal enquiry committee submitted its final findings, declaring him not guilty of all allegations levelled against him.

According to the official communication issued on 14 November 2015, the enquiry committee—formed earlier to probe accusations of misconduct and violation of organizational norms—found no evidence supporting the charges. The report categorically states that no wrongdoing was established and no breach of rules was detected on part of Er. Wani.

The latest decision marks the closure of a controversy that had sparked internal debate within the traders’ body in recent weeks. Earlier, questions regarding leadership conduct had prompted the Election Committee to temporarily relieve Er. Wani of his duties pending investigation. The committee had assured a fair and transparent enquiry, promising that the final decision would be based solely on facts and evidence.

With the committee’s clean chit, the Chief Election Commission of Beopar Mandal Banihal ordered that Er. Shadab Wani be reinstated with immediate effect. All powers, privileges, and responsibilities associated with the office of President have also been fully restored.
