Indus Towers sends relief to flood-hit families in Punjab, J&K, HP
Srinagar, Sep 9: Indus Towers, one of the world’s leading telecom infrastructure providers, has sent relief to communities affected by recent floods in Punjab, J&K, and Himachal Pradesh. In collaboration with local authorities, the company distributed 3,000 relief kits and 1,000 packs of cattle feed to families in areas including Batote, Gurdaspur, Mandi, Ajnala, and Dera Baba Nanak.
A statement issued here said that the relief kits, part of Indus Towers’ CSR Disaster Relief initiative, contained essential food items for families and feed for livestock, addressing both immediate nutritional needs and the livelihoods of affected residents. Approximately 3,000 households are expected to benefit from the initiative.
Indus Towers highlighted the dedication of its employees and volunteers in ensuring timely delivery to the most affected regions. The company also emphasized its focus on restoring network connectivity, helping communities rebuild and stay connected in the aftermath of the floods.
Tejinder Kalra, Chief Operating Officer of Indus Towers, said the company stands firmly with the communities it serves, providing both relief and long-term support. Sanam Gupta, Circle CEO HPHP, added that the initiative demonstrates Indus Towers’ commitment to social responsibility, community resilience, and collaboration with government agencies.
