Jammu, Nov 28:: Indrajaal Drone Defence has launched India’s first Anti-Drone Patrol Vehicle (ADPV) — a fully mobile, AI-enabled counter-drone system designed to detect, track and neutralise hostile drones while on the move. The vehicle, named Indrajaal Ranger, marks a significant shift from traditional anti-drone units that operate only when stationed at fixed locations.

The innovation comes amid a surge in cross-border drone activity. Recent incidents — including ISI-linked drone trafficking and the BSF’s interception of over 250 Pakistani drones this year — have highlighted how drones are increasingly being used for smuggling weapons and narcotics deep into Indian territory.

Indrajaal said these developments underscored the need for a rapid-response, mobile platform capable of countering threats in real time across borders, highways, canals, agricultural belts and dense urban areas.

The ADPV offers on-the-move detection, autonomous AI-driven threat assessment, real-time patrolling and instant drone neutralisation, providing seamless coverage across difficult terrain and sensitive corridors. The company described the vehicle as a “purpose-built combat system” aimed at strengthening India’s defence posture against emerging aerial threats.

At the launch event, Lieutenant General Devendra Pratap Pandey (Retd), former GOC of the Chinar Corps, said the system would play a vital role in protecting border communities. “These are not just machines — they are shields protecting our children, our farmers, and our future,” he said, congratulating Indrajaal for its contribution to national security.

Indrajaal founder and CEO Kiran Raju said the system was built with a clear mission: “Each drone neutralised translates to lives protected and India’s internal security strengthened. Our goal is to defend freedom.”
