Srinagar, July 7: The body of a 63-year-old farmer, La Noti, was discovered inside an eight-meter-long python in Majapahit Village, Batauga, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. The grim discovery was made around 2:30 p.m. Central Indonesia Time (WITA), according to Laode Risawal, Head of Emergency and Logistics at the South Buton Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD).

La Noti had been reported missing earlier, prompting a search operation by local residents. His remains were eventually found during the effort—completely swallowed by the massive python.

The python appeared to have swollen something human-like and was struggling to move. Thereafter, the residents killed the snake and cut its belly open.
