India’s 1st listing on NSE Social Stock Exchange unveiled

Srinagar, Dec 13: In a historic moment for the Indian financial landscape, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) witnessed the inaugural listing on the NSE Social Stock Exchange today.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Ashishkumar Chauhan, Managing Director & CEO of the National Stock Exchange, along with key figures including Dr. R Balasubramaniam, Chairman of the Advisory Committee at the Social Stock Exchange, SEBI, Ramesh Swami, Founder Director of Unnati, and Ashwani Bhatia, Whole Time Member of SEBI.

The ceremony marked a significant milestone in India's efforts to channel capital towards socially responsible and impact-driven initiatives. The NSE Social Stock Exchange aims to provide a dedicated platform for listing and trading social enterprises, nonprofits, and voluntary organizations, fostering a new era of socially conscious investing.
