New Delhi, Apr 9: In a bid to ensure smooth arrangements for Indian pilgrims participating in this year’s Haj, Secretary of the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Dr. Chandra Shekhar Kumar, along with Joint Secretary C.P.S. Bakshi arrived in Jeddah on Monday.
The visit is part of a comprehensive review of preparations underway for the annual pilgrimage, scheduled for early June.
The senior officials are expected to assess accommodation, transportation, medical facilities, and other logistical arrangements made for Indian pilgrims. This high-level engagement highlights the Indian government’s ongoing commitment to facilitating a safe, comfortable, and well-organized Haj experience for its citizens.
