Indian Air Force to participate in multinational exercise INIOCHOS-25
New Delhi, Mar 30: The Indian Air Force (IAF) is set to take part in Exercise INIOCHOS-25, a prestigious multinational air exercise hosted by the Hellenic Air Force at Andravida Air Base, Greece.
Scheduled to run from March 31 to April 11, 2025, the exercise will see the IAF deploy its Su-30 MKI fighter jets, supported by IL-78 air-to-air refueling aircraft and C-17 transport planes.
Held biennially, INIOCHOS brings together air forces from around the world to refine their combat skills, exchange tactical expertise, and enhance military cooperation.
This year’s edition will integrate air and surface assets from 15 participating nations, creating a high-intensity training environment that simulates contemporary air warfare challenges. For the IAF, participation in INIOCHOS-25 presents a valuable opportunity to train in joint air operations, test advanced combat tactics, and gain insights into best practices for modern aerial warfare. By operating alongside partner nations, the exercise will also strengthen interoperability, coordination, and strategic collaboration on a global scale.
