India-UK FTA to power ‘Make in India’ globally: MD TVS Motor

Srinagar, Jul 24: TVS Motor Company has welcomed the signing of the India-UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA) during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official visit to Britain, calling it a landmark moment for Indian industry and the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

The FTA, expected to double bilateral trade from USD 60 billion to USD 120 billion by 2030, marks a major push toward the Prime Minister’s vision of Viksit Bharat.

The agreement comes at a crucial time for TVS Motor, which is preparing to launch a new line of Norton Motorcycles in the UK following its acquisition of the iconic British brand.
