India to build new hospital in Kabul to strengthen ties with Afghanistan

New Delhi, Dec 11: India has announced that it will build a new 30-bed hospital in Kabul’s Bagrami district, further strengthening its long-standing ties with Afghanistan.
The plan was shared by India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Parvathaneni Harish.

The hospital will include an oncology centre, a trauma centre, and five maternity clinics to help meet important health needs in the area.
Officials said the project reflects India’s deep cultural and historical connection with Afghanistan and its continued support for the Afghan people.
