New Delhi, Sep 10: India has once again extended its hand in friendship by sending humanitarian aid to Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. These countries are facing severe food shortages due to the ongoing El Niño-induced drought. India has sent shipments of food grains To help ease their struggles.

Malawi received 1,000 metric tons of rice, Zambia was sent the first batch of 1,300 metric tons of maize (from a planned 2,500 metric tons), and Zimbabwe also received 1,000 metric tons of rice.

These food shipments are meant to support the countries in managing their food security and ensuring that their people have access to essential supplies. This gesture reflects India’s deep-rooted belief in Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, the idea that the whole world is one family.
